Pinay in States: Beware Phishing Emails

First thing of all, I never used my gmail account in my Paypal account. So, I was wondering why Paypal is sending me this following message:

It has come to our attention that your Paypal account has been accessed by a third party, meaning that an unauthorized person has logged into your account.
We require you to login into your account and update your billing information and security questions, so that further third party access can be prevented.
Failure to update your billing information and security questions within 72 hours may result in suspension of your account.
To proceed in updating your account, please click on the following link:
Click here to activate your account.
Updating your billing information and security questions will prevent unauthorized third party access, and possibly unauthorized purchases. We thank you for your cooperation.

Obviously, there's no Paypal logo. When I received the email the first thing I noticed my email address. I never add this email address where they send this email. Well, something phishing is going on here! Then, they're from Europe? I thought Paypal is in California. Hmmm....
Also with the help of Paypal Safety agent quizzes, I knew what was wrong in here, when I checked the website where click here to activate your account link is, where it should be open in a new link (right click first) I have found out that this website is among the Web forgeries that are designed to trick you into revealing personal or financial information by imitating sources you may trust. So, entering any information on this web page may result in identity theft or other fraud. Even though they were blocked, still they're sending this hoax email...nakakaloka! Walay mabuhat!

PayPal (Europe) Limited is authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the United Kingdom as an electronic money institution.
