Aid in Writing

Give Me Five techniques you use to aid in writing for your blog or for your journal...whatever helps cure that writer's block.
- Captioning: pictures to be titled or explained in writing. I always do this every time I joined weekly memes.
- Flashback: stepping back in time, from the current point in the story, to explain or give backstory. I always connect my experiences in everything I blog. It is just more fun and interesting to the readers.
- Rhetoric: Asking a question without providing its answer leaves a lasting impression on the reader as to the point the author is trying to make. This is helpful, especially if you want to talk and tackle about the certain situation from a question.
- Reflection: stand back to analyze one's own actions and reactions. I do reflection a lot. I just love doing it.
- Summarize: write a brief summary of a notebook, project or period in one's life. Summarizing is the best way to share anything to your readers. I may not good in summarizing all the time, but I find it very entertaining and exact.

What a great list! I couldn't agree more with #2, especially because we get readers that are new and won't remember our specific background info....and also because there are so many bloggers, I could never keep their back stories straight! LOL Thanks for playing along.
Also, I see you are from St. Louis as well, what great weather we are having here! Go out and enjoy it if you can...I have to be stuck inside my office :(
Those are excellent tips for good writing.
Thank you for the reminder!
