I Rather went Shopping

Friday, April 30, 2010

This week on Aloha Friday question is do you shop online/offline during work or school? Do you feel guilty about doing so or is it just par for the course? What's the last thing you bought when you were "supposed" to be working/studying?

~I remember when I had my exam last Tuesday and somewhat I was so guilty because I haven't study that eagerly. Instead, I went shopping instead through online and I looked for some new while Capri jeans and shorts. Then, I went back to study but after a while, I get bored and stopped doing it. Later that day, we went to the park and enjoy the warm weather we had here in Michigan for once in a while and so we don't want to miss it. Then, by Sunday, I reviewed again and stop doing it before I started with thought of getting into this online store where you can everything a discount prices. I screwed up again and went shopping online instead. I bought two pair of jeans since it was like a deal of buy one and get the other pair of jeans for half off. It was fun shopping online but I feel so guilty since I never studied that much for the first time.

The Last Time I Pig Out!

This week on Girls Talk meme's topic is The last time you pig out.

I always have festivities when I had my birthday last two weeks ago. My husband and I went to a seafood restaurant and I had a platter where you can eat crabs, lobster, and shrimps and with it, I always order rice plus with the side of seasonal vegetables. Then, before the dinner meal being served, I had a Cole slaw and hot cheddar biscuits while waiting for our food which is one of my favorite too! They're so good!

This seafood platter is one of my favorite to order whenever we go to that restaurant. Although, it cost like $22 but I guess it's all worth it.

So by the end of the meal, I'm so stuffed and I couldn't eat the rest of the shrimps anymore. It made feel sick...LOL! but I wanted to do it all over again!

Aloha Friday: Burning Down the House

Friday, April 23, 2010

It's Friday and it is time for Aloha Friday, a weekly meme where you can ask any question and share it to others.

Anyway, before I began with my question, it was all started when I heard a news a while ago that there's an apartment nearby city of where we lived that was on fire. It was an apartment and good thing the other side of the building wasn't affected. Although the entire room was all burned down. Good thing no one was hurt, all the family wasn't home and they don't know yet where the flame started. Then, a few weeks later as I read the news, there's a house that had been burned down and three kids were on fire. It was so sad knowing that the mother is so stupid leaving her 4 other kids with an eldest 11 years old boy. She went to the store to buy a furnace filter because the one they had was starting a spark. So, she drove to the store and when she came back, the house was burned down with all her three kids in it including an infant. It was miserable and she was all crying out. If I were here, I would bring all my kids in the car and leave the house or call for help.

Anyway, it is just so sad. Well, my question is not about how you will deal with it but....

...... if your house was on fire, but you had time to grab one or two material possession, what would you take with you as you fled the flames?

For me I would take valuable stuff such as documents and my laptop. Why? Because these are my important stuff and everything was in it.

Feel free to leave your answer and don't forget to visit Aloha Friday.

Girls Talk: First on Buffet for Me!

Wednesday, April 21, 2010

This week on Girls Talk Meme's topic is Food you choose first on a buffet.

This is very interesting topic and I thank Mommy Niko for hosting this meme because it is so unusual to have a question like this and it can only be found at Girls Talk. You know girls can talk anything they want and it is always a girl thing.

Well for me, when I came into a buffet restaurant, the first thing I always pick up first is the steam crabs. Chinese Buffet is so famous here in US and one of the most expensive seafood here is crabs and lobster. Though, you can't find a lobster in a buffet menu but crabs is always available. So when it comes to buffet selection, I always eat crabs as much as I could before going to get the rest of the food. It's all you can eat crabs and so why not grab the opportunity and make most of what you pay for, right?

When it comes to crabs, it is not just a simple crabs but they are KING crabs, the meat were huge and a lot of meat! Unlike the Philippine crabs, they were small and very tiny compare to king crabs and so they were the best! I'm so addicted to it.

Oh, now I wanted to eat some crabs again...

I am thinking... if we have class this week. I always have in mind that it was a spring break but I guess not.

I am thankful for... everything, especially on last birthday I had.

From the learning rooms...I can see my son learning how to color much better than before.

From the kitchen... I can hear the dishwasher is on.

I am wearing... tee and short for the first time! Yay, finally it's warm, I can't wait for the summer.

I am creating... a post for my blogs, it has been left out for four days.
I am going... to read my books on Psychology too since we will have an exam next week.

I am reading... a post written by me and checking if there's something wrong in it.

I am hoping... that we don't have class this week but I guess we have since I had so much thing to do.

I am hearing... a dishwasher is cycling on, then my son jumping and running around the living room.

One of my favorite things... is blogging, singing a videoke songs, watching a movie with my husband, and shopping.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

It's me during our play with my son Josh at the park. I am sitting on one of the benches over there and my husband took a picture of me from his phone.

Weird Acne Visit

A couple days ago, I have noticed weird acne on my face, it was a little bump when it came out then later it has something sticking out and then, it surrounded by pus. I was like where the world did I get it? I started wondering and I noticed that I just had my menstruation a couple of days ago and I think that’s what it is all about. Then, after couple days of dealing with this one and only special acne, it was then started drying out and then, the thing that was sticking out came off. Then, it was all fine. I don’t want to just get rid of it without waiting until it dries because it might leave some scar on my face. So, I waited and finally it’s gone but it left a red spot. I wonder if there’s a website where you can learn different types of acne, you know but there’s one website where you can find acne solutions just click here.

A Date with my Sisters

Last Saturday during my birthday party, my sisters in law and I talked about watching a movie “The Last Song” starred by Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. I did not know that they were a real sweetheart but I guess they made a good couple. I guess, they’re on their ages now to be lovers, right? Well, who cares?

Anyway, we watched the movie yesterday at 12:20 noon because that’s where they can be available to watch it because of their kids will be home by afternoon from school. So, we went there and my sister in law picked me up from home and we’re driving all the way to the theater and my other sister in law will just wait for us at the theater. Good thing she already bought the tickets and then popcorn and pop. It was good, everything was done, though; we’re about a minute late to see the beginning of the movie. The movie was good, a tearjerker movie ever! I was so into emotions when it comes to daughter and father relationship. I didn’t know about the movie until yesterday and I never ever read the book either. If you know the book written by Nicholas Sparks, I saw it in the store the other day and I thought it might be a good book. Good thing I didn’t buy it because then I will be crying.

Then, after the movie we went to eat lunch at Max & Erma’s Coney Island, I had Caribbean chicken for lunch with broccoli and rice. It was good! I loved it! Then, after we had lunch, I have decided to stay home and go for a walk in the outdoor mall. Then, I saw and started shopping again. I hate it but I loved it, you know what I mean. After a couple hours, my husband and my son came to pick me up and then we went to a store afterwards. It was fun and I had a good time with my sisters in law.

Learn how to play piano online

Friday, April 16, 2010

When I was about 7 years old, I have been dreaming of how to play a piano and be a pianist someday but of course, all was just a dream. I haven’t gone on really playing a piano or even took a piano lessons for me to learn to play piano never happened. If I have given a chance to get into a piano school and learn how to then I would take the chances. I always have the passion on piano.

When I was still in the Philippines, at our church, a friend of mine offered us to teach how to learn playing a piano but that was the time when I got so busy and have no time anymore to learn how to. So, we prioritize young people then at church to learn instead of us, the older young people because someday they can be used to write songs or even useful at any church gatherings. It was fun and watching them learning it is also a great opportunities.

So, when I came here in US, I was then lost communication to some of them and I bet they already knew how to play piano and be good at it. I guess, learning how to play piano would take a lot of time and therefore, a lot of piano lessons can be found online too. I have seen a lot of websites online that offer piano lessons. Isn’t it amazing, you can able to learn how to play piano by being online?

So, if you want to learn how to play piano, just visit the link above.

This week on Aloha Friday! I love being outside today because of the weather but unfortunately, it will be thunderstorm today and I guess, I have to stay home for the rest of the day. But before that, I will post my Aloha Friday question for this week before I go to the store and buy some things we need for my birthday party this coming Saturday.

Last week, I celebrated my 28th birthday and I spent time with my husband and my son most of the week. I also celebrate some times with friends and I'm loving it too.
Anyway, when it comes to my birthday, I always have fun what to get and what not. My husband is a giver, he always spend money on gifts, especially on giving gifts to me.

So, last birthday I had, I got a new outfit from him and I'm looking forward to wear them this coming Saturday for my birthday party with the family and I got a gift too from my myself as well. I bought a wallet and a pair of studded sandal.

So, my question is:

What did you received on your last birthday and if not yet, what do you want for your birthday?

Leave me a comment and enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Real Life

This week on the friday five:

# If you could change one thing in your life right at this moment, what would it be?
= Maybe having a child as earlier as I thought. Although, I never regret having a child at the age of 25 but it was also the right age I guess if you want to spend long time with your children. But as this moment, I can't do anything I want because we have a child to prioritize with. It is just too much things to do.

# What talent/skill don't you have that you'd like to have, and why?
=Singing. I would love to sing but singing doesn't really like me that much at all.

# What talent/skill do you have that not many people know about?

# What reality TV show best matches your real life?
=I don't know...none so far.

# If your life was a reality TV show, what would it be called?

Messing up again

Last Tuesday, I messed up with my diet and absolutely this coming Saturday; I will do it again because of my upcoming birthday party. Maybe, I will resume my losing weight diet by next week if the mood and appetite permits. Every time I made a promise of myself, I always have the chance of losing it. There’s a lot of temptation was going on when it comes to what to eat and what not. I wish I could able to get a diet pill with ephedra so that despite of what I ate I can able to still lose weight and not to worry about gaining more. I have heard that Ephedra is an effective diet pills when it comes to weight loss. Have you heard it too? Tell me what do you think?

Girls Talk: Expensive Lunches

Wednesday, April 14, 2010

This week on Girls Talk meme is all about the Most Expensive Lunch.

This is going to be fun since this time, we can able to figure out what was the difference why some restaurants sell their food very expensively. So, here's my cues of the reason why, first, the place, the area of where their restaurants located and of course, the supply and demand of the food itself. Another reason is, it is because of the food, the taste is irresistible and let's say worthy for the price.
I had lots of experiences when it comes to expensive lunches/dinners. I had my expensive lunch just yesterday. We spent $71 for our lunch entrees yesterday. Basically, we spent $35 for lunch which is somewhat so expensive. I couldn't believe it but it's all worth it. The food is awesome plus it is seafood plus it is my birthday!

My lunch dinner ultimate feast

Also, I remember when we had our expensive dinner. It was my 26th birthday, we had it at the seafood restaurant again. I never get the dinner because at their menu, you can see the prices of their food. The most expensive is $68. I was in shock! So I look for something cheaper for $30. Since then, I knew that I will never go back there anymore unless I win in mega million sweepstakes.

Anyway, when we had our honeymoon last December 2004 at Pearl Farm Beach resort at Samal Island, the prices is on the dollar value too. I think the lunches I had when we were there was costs about $20 to 40 as well. I think they're all depends on if they were a tourist vacation spots.

I am going... to celebrate my birthday by shopping for my gift, dine out and watch a movie with my beloved husband.

Noticing that...when I had my birthday last year, it was kind of different from today but I still look younger...

Pondering these words...Just remember, once you're over the hill you begin to pick up speed. By Charles Schulz

From the kitchen…dirty plates and utensils...glasses is still at the counter top.

One of my favorite things...to do on my special day is to celebrate, eat my favorite seafood, enjoy the day...

A few plans for the rest of the week... well, get ready for this up coming weekend for my birthday party with my in laws.

Saturday Six for April 10th

This week on Saturday Six:

1. What is the most exotic restaurant you’ve ever visited on a vacation? = I never did I guess because I couldn't think of any.

2. What’s the single most exotic dish you’ve ever tried (even if it wasn’t at the restaurant in your previous answer)? = Well, a seafood combo with frog legs and calamari

3. As a general rule, which restaurant would you most recommend to a visitor to your current home city or town? = I would love to share to them Andiamos or Papa Vinos if they like Italian food, for Mexican, probably El Charro and for seafood either Red Lobster or Joe's Crab Shack.

4. What is your own favorite single dish at that restaurant? = Crab cakes from Joe's Crab Shack, it's the best, made with real 100% crab meat.

5. Take the quiz: What’s Your Cheesecake Personality?
When I went to take the quiz, I was so confused which cheesecake meets my personality, they're all look so delicious!
My choices is between Raspberry and Strawberry! I have tasted raspberry cheesecake and they're the best!! So, here's my result:

You Are a Raspberry Cheesecake

You are opinionated and a little stubborn. You believe that you know what's best.
You are confident and knowledgeable. And if you don't know the answer to something, you look it up.

You're a great thinker who comes up with innovative ideas. Some of the things you believe are pretty controversial.
You tend to be on the cutting edge of trends. People eventually catch up with you - five or ten years down the road.

6. You’ve had a very satisfying meal with your closest friends, but you find that you still have room for dessert: if you haven’t seen the menu and you know the chef will make you anything you desire, what would you ask for? = I would love the cheesecake with raspberry in it.

Old Wedding Invitations

Friday, April 9, 2010

Do you still have your old wedding invitations? I do! I still have them after almost 6 years of being married. I still remember when I ordered our wedding invitations in the Philippines. It was the best one that I got over there. We had our picture in it and the design I really wanted. Then, when we renewed our wedding vow here in the US, my mother in law ordered us a wedding invitations again to give out. It was a simple one but it was very elegant looking and I loved it, same color, baby blue. All of these wedding invitations were ordered at a wedding invitation shops.

Now, there’s a lot of wedding invitations you can find, you can order it online or just go to a wedding invitations shop to order. I wish it was like these 6 years ago, I bet I could find more style of wedding invitations that I could choose from. Well, it is still better to think of those good old days.

Where am I last weekend?

Last weekend, I went to travel again but this time it only takes us four hours to go up north at Rogers City here in Michigan, USA. Compare to our province in the Philippines, I would consider Rogers City as an upscale province. Whether you want to work, build a business, or retire this community of well-kept homes and quiet tree lined streets welcomes guests with a hospitality unique to Rogers City. It is also a place where you can still enjoy some of the most beautiful and plentiful lakefront in Northern Michigan – fresh, clean, and unspoiled with downtown parks & trails, beaches, and one of Michigan's best marinas and fishing areas. When we went up there, it was warm and sunny, you can still hear the breeze blow through the trees - smell the pine and clean cedar scented air.

Rogers City is located on Lake Huron and is home to two salmon fishing tournaments. The world's largest open pit limestone quarry, the Port of Calcite, is located within the city limits and is one of the largest shipping ports on the Great Lakes. One of the best lake I always wanted to visit.

Aloha Friday: And I love you so...

Thank God it's Friday and it is time for Aloha Friday. A weekly meme where you can share any questions you might have in mind and share it to others.

The thing on my mind is, when did you say I love you to your partner, to your spouse, to your friends, to your siblings, to your children that you really meant and feel the love in your heart. Not just you said so because you want to feel the other secured and they were loved?

Last night my husband and I before we went to bed, we talked for a while and just shared some memories and laughter. Then, we kissed and the rest is history.
After a while, I just told him I love him so much and I feel it in my heart. It is not for the first time but it was so good and wonderful feeling that when you said the three words, you really felt it in your heart.

Let be honest this time...so this week Aloha Friday question is:

Who is the last person you said, "I love you" to and when was that?

I would say my husband before we went to bed last night...

Feel free to leave your answer in the comment section, I would love to hear from you.

Hobbies

It is almost my birthday and I am counting the days. It's five days more to go before I turned 28. Now, I feel old. 28 is not that old for those older than that but I felt it. I can't believe how time went by so quickly, I could still remember when I turned 18. Well, let's not talk about ages anymore but let's tackle about hobbies.

On this week on 3x Thursday is: List and describe 3 hobbies that you have (they can be anything).

1. First and foremost, I love blogging. Blogging is part of my daily routine. I do blog for money, for fun, for sharing interesting stuff, and for a lot of reasons. I started blogging like almost three years ago and now still doing it. I guess, this is my long time hobby that I couldn't live without. If you don't know about blogging, this is where you can make your own website but it is for personal purposes. You can write whatever you want and share it to others as an article. It was fun and I'm loving. As you can see, I have six blogs and it is so obvious that I am so addicted to it.

2. Shopping - I don't know if shopping can be consider as a hobby but it was on me. I always love to shop no matter what. Every time I was at the store, I always have something in hand when I came out from the store to make me feel good. I felt so empty whenever I came out from the store and I was empty handed. I really feel that there's something missing. It was so weird but it was true. Whether I online shop or go to a retail store, or do window shopping, looking for something that are on sale or at very cheapest prices. Love bargains too! That's what it is all about shopping, saving money at the same time.

3. Lastly, listening to music. Absolutely my all time favorite music that I never get tired of listening. Every time, I changed clothes, ready to go out, taking a shower, I always have music playing on. I love music, it makes me feel relax and just enjoy life.

Digital Camera as a Birthday gift...

We have a Nikon coolpix camera with 7.1 megapixel on it for almost four years now. Since then, we never replaced it since it was way too much better and still working. I think I dropped it like twice and it was just fine although there are some scratches and off lines on it but it still works fine. The thing that I don’t like about it is that it always gets the shots so blurry, so I have to choose specific dial to get a better picture but if we need to buy a new digital camera, I would prefer a different brand again.

Actually, I have found a wide selection of digital cameras online and now I am so eager to get a new one and maybe a new camera for my birthday. I am looking for Sony, Canon, or Olympus brands at 10 megapixels and up but some of them are way more expensive. I find Olympus very affordable and so as Sony digital cameras. Well, I thought maybe Canon is much better at 12.2 mp for $249 and in blue color. What do you think? I love blue color and I guess it would be a perfect gift for me.

3x Thursday: TV Time

Last week on 3x Thursday:

1. Whatcha’ watchin’ these days (movies, on-air TV, off-air TV, etc)?

=Unfortunately, we don't have a cable since there's a problem installing it into our basement. So we don't have TV for a while and looking forward to have it soon using a cable in our living room instead in our basement. But I am watching my favorite TV shows online and we did watched a lot of movies too lately using Netflix.

2. Are you more of a TV show watcher (prime time shows), a documentary (PBS, History, Discovery, etc), or a movie watcher? Why?

=I am a movie watcher but sometimes I do enjoy watching prime time shows such as CSI, forensic files, and some interesting crime movies as well. I also like to watch Discovery and History channels but it always depend on moods and if the topic is interesting.

3. Were there any shows you remember watching ‘as a family’ when you were a kid? If so, what were they? If not, were there any shows that you just ‘couldn’t miss’?

=Yes, I do. Way back when I was still in the Philippines, we do have favorite family shows we always watch, most of them are a noon time shows, comedy shows, and some prime time shows on TV. W always watched them every night and we just missed watching it if we went out or have a black out.

Loves of Your Life!

This week on 3x Thursday:

What/who are your 3 favorite living things (pets, family, other people you know, etc) in your life? Why?

When I think about the favorite living things that I love, my husband, my son and my parents are the ones who entered into my mind.

1. My parents - because they're the reason why I am here. They gave me life, a life that made me stronger, a good girl, ambitious, and God-fearing. I owed my mom everything. She taught me how to be a good woman, to cherish my family and my future children and to understand the meaning of life.

2. My husband - who loves me unconditionally. I always looking forward to marry a prince charming someday but we all know every thing is not perfect. My man is not rich or had wealth but being with him makes my life worth living. I love him with all of my heart and I always thank God for giving him to me.

3. Lastly, my son. He was the one who taught me what love really meant. I love him no matter what. He is just so precious to me and I thought I could live without. He taught me how to be strong and be a good mother and I always thankful to God for giving me a child that I could never think I could have. He is just so worthy of every pain, every sadness, and every tears. I loved him with all my heart and mind.

He is everything to me!

Girls Talk: Fave Junk Foods

This week on Girls Talk meme is Favorite junk food.

This week theme reminded me of my childhood. When I was about 7 to 12 years old, I really enjoyed bunch of junk foods such as E-bi, Nora, Nips, Oishi, Fish Crackers, and some other stuff. My mom used to tell me, I was eating air all the time and salt. I thought I don't care at all, all I was thinking at that time is how to get money so I could buy my favorite junk foods.

Then, when I get older that's where I have noticed that I stopped eating them already.

Actually, I lost my appetite when eating junk foods too when I got married and have my own family, especially when I came here in US because that's where I seldom to find some of my favorite junk foods when I was still in the Philippines. I couldn't find Nova or Piattos here anymore.

I have found some junk foods here too such as Lays, Doritos, Cheetos, and a lot more and one thing that made me crave for more --- BAKED! LAY'S® Cheddar & Sour Cream Flavored Potato Crisps... they're the best and the good thing about it is baked! No oil at all!

Now, thinking of buying a new bag again....:D

Not Again...

When I was on vacation last weekend, I have noticed that my soda pop stop drinking habit was ruined because all the time when I was on vacation, I was just drinking pop again every time we went out to eat or went to a park. They have this small concession at the park where you can just buy food while enjoying the park and lake view. I thought of myself, when I get home, I would drink a lot of water and stop drinking pop again. I wish there’s a pill where you can able to eliminate pop effect on your body since it was so addictive. I feel bloated when I get home the other day, and I had sleepless nights since I got stuffy nose again.

Now, I really wanted to just drink water and be healthy again, or just lost my belly fats again. I know soda pop can cause belly fats too. So, I went online again which I usually do when I feel that I needed to lose weight. I have found several websites that does reviews on diet pills and some of them are really helpful when it comes to information. If you want to check it out, you can click here to visit the website.

Food that Comforts me!

Last week on Girls Talk Meme is What’s your comfort food?

Since I missed to post my last week entry, I had to post them today since we just got home from our vacation and since then, I needed some time to do other things before I will get back online.

Actually, I don't pay attention on what I ate when I got mad, depress, stress, or sad. I think I don't eat anything at all when I am on these dilemma. I think if I do, I am more on drinks I guess such as mango smoothie shakes, anything that just cold but food? well, let me think....

Now, I remember, I think Pancit Sotanghon and Shrimp Fajitas since I love shrimp this is the food recipe where you can actually taste the shrimp at its best. I remember when I feel so sad and depressed, I was then started craving these food and went to a store and bought the ingredients....

Pinay in State's Daybook for April 6th

This week on The Simple Woman's Daybook for April 6th:

Outside my window... ~cloudy, rainy day.

I am thinking... about not going to school today due to the weather that made me sleepy and tired.

I am thankful for... my husband who always there to take good care of our son.

I am wearing... shorts and tees.

I am remembering... ~the days we had up north last weekend.

I am going... to change my clothes now a little bit later since I realized that I don't want to miss school.

I am currently reading... none....I have been pretty lazy on reading books...

I am hoping...that someday, it will be warm and sunny not wet and rainy...

On my mind... is my son who had a fever, poor baby...
Noticing that... my son fell asleep on the couch, I have noticed he is warm and hot.

Pondering these words... Just got back from a pleasure trip: I took my mother-in-law to the airport.
From the kitchen... ~I could smell buttered noodles and steak

Around the house... toys are everywhere!

One of my favorite things... blogging and do my thing online as well such as Face book, games, and a lot more!

From my picture journal...

My husband and my son during our vacation last weekend up north at Rogers City, MI. It was their first boating experience together. I loved it!

Scenic Sunday: Lake Huron

It is my first time to join Scenic Sunday and I was so glad that now I could able to make my first post.

Last weekend we went up north for a weekend vacation for Easter and I did visit the lake Huron, the park, the forest, and I had a fun with my family.

Taken at the small lake near our cabin

At Lake Huron which is one of the five Great Lakes of North America, the second largest lake actually. It is bounded on the east by Ontario, Canada and on the west by Michigan, USA. The name of the lake is derived from early French explorers who named it based on the Huron people inhabiting the region.

Saturday 6 for April 3rd

This week on Saturday 6:

1. When you go to buy clothes, what store do you generally visit for the best deals? = I go to a store that gives coupons and rewards. I also love to go shopping when I had the best deal on sale and clearance items. Most stores that I love to shop are Macys, Kohls, JcPenney, American Eagle, Aeropostale, The Children's Place, Old Navy, and Bath and Body Works.

2. Of the stores near you, which one is likely the last one you’d consider visiting to look for a bargain on clothes? = Mostly the expensive stores like Nordstrom, Hollister, Abecrombie and Fitch, Gap, and J. Crew

3. Which are you more likely to spend more on: a haircut or a bottle of your favorite shampoo? What did you last pay for that?

4. Which are you likely to spend more money on: a pair of slacks you’d be willing to wear or a pair of shoes you’d be willing to wear? What did you last pay for that item? = On coats, I usually spend more money on coats and jackets. I also not so willing to spend more money on jeans or even slacks. Maybe less thsn 25 bucks will do.

5. Take the quiz: What’s Your Shopping Stereotype?

Your Shopping Stereotype is Balanced

Unlike most people, you don't really obsess over shopping. It's a chore, just like any other.
You crave a simple, stress free experience when you go shopping. Convenience is very important to you.

You tend to know what you want, and you're willing to pay to get it quickly. You probably enjoy shopping online. (Yes, I do)

You enjoy taking time to pick out what you want, but once you're ready to buy, you don't want to drag out the process.

6. If you had to cut out three “luxury” or unnecessary things you often buy for three months to save money during an income crisis, which three would you choose? = maybe shoes and purses!

Save on Acne Treatments

A few days ago, my friend on Face book was complaining about the acne she had for quite a while now and so she went to a dermatologist to find out what was causing it. Then, the doctor, of course, gave her an acne treatments solution and it costs a lot than usual acne treatment you can find in the grocery stores. I thought why not try those not prescribed acne treatment prior to going to a doctor? I had tried three acne treatments and I only found one acne treatment that treats, heals, and it was gentle on my face and until now I don’t have problems with acne anymore. So I told her about it and hopefully she will listen to me, so she can able to save money than buying those prescription acne treatments.

Went Up north for Vacation

Last Thursday, my family went up north for a weekend vacation with my mother in law at her cabin at Rogers City, Michigan. It was about four hours away from the city and it was absolutely a long drive for us since along the way, we kept stopping to do some tasks.

Anyway, when we were there, we had fun. We went to the Lake Huron for quite a while to enjoy more of the water breeze from the lake, enjoy the warm sunny weather, to enjoy playing and building sand castle for my son, and enjoy the walking by the sea shore. I had so much because being away from the city for once in a while is very helpful to eliminate stress. Also, we went to the park for my son to enjoy the playground and then we went to McDonald's for the rest of an hour to use their Wi-Fi free services. I have been bringing my laptop to check out my blog and so as my face book games too. I have been so addicted to it and I can't even stop not to check on it for once in a while.

Then, my mother in law and I went to town to look some of the resale shops and small stores nearby. It was lots of things to see over there, very unusual, unique and I never thought I could find. We went to the grocery store to buy the rest of what we need for the Easter weekend. It was fun and I am looking forward to go back someday.

Then, last Monday we came back here and I got so tired and so overwhelmed. I wonder why it takes forever to get back home than going up there. It takes us about 6 hours to get home. Well, it was fun and I had a good time.

Outdoor Decors

Winter is finally over in the state of Michigan and now I am looking forward for spring and summer time. During winter all the stuff was kept away from cold and so now it is time the time to moved them back out. I have seen out neighbors lately who started decorating their patios and balconies too. Some started planting flowers and plants outside of their homes and I am thinking the same way too. If we only have a big patio I could able to decorate them more and buy some outdoor décor like lightning post, a fire pit like the Tuscan fire pit, I saw online. I find them so amazing because you don’t need an extra table for drinks because the fire pit itself can be an all seasonal cocktail table. Then, I can also put chairs, and then put some cushions and pillows on it. I wish we could have a patio so I could enjoy more of the spring and summer time weather with all these outdoor decor accessories.

Aloha Friday for Easter

Friday, April 2, 2010

This week on Aloha Friday, is going to be my automatic post since right now I am up north having a vacation with my family. So, my question is not even related to Easter thing but I find it very interesting to talk about.

So, my question is:

How do you feel about couples that share an email address? Do you share email address with your partner or spouse?

My answer is:

I don't. We never talked about it or shared this idea to each other but I shared to him my passwords of some of my emails if he asked to since we used it when buying stuff online, check some recent bills, and so on and so forth but for without reason at all we don't. My husband even forget my password where I always remembered his.

Well, it was ok, I guess it sounds like they need to share it for something in a purpose of knowing one's correspondence. Well, me and my husband never did so because I guess there is trust and honesty in our relationship. I didn't mean that those couples who shared emails addresses don't have trust and loyalty to each other but you know as a committed person, you also need to have personal space even on just email correspondence. We don't know what was going on to those who shared email addresses but they might have different situation and reason behind why.

So, I wanted to know if you do!
