Last year was actually an amazing year for me, so I’m sharing to you some of the highlights of the happenings that I will never forget. This is something that I really wanted to remember and sharing it to you makes it all worthwhile.
January of last year is the time when my husband came home from being deployed. I was so happy to see him again. Then, after two weeks of being together, I flew to the Philippines to visit my family and friends after being here in the US for almost 7 years. It was a nice experience and I’m with my daughter at that time whose just about 6 months old at that time of our vacation. We stayed there for 2 months and 9 days.
Then, I spent most of my time with my family, going to the beach and eat some of my favorite Filipino food that I missed.
Then, when I came home, my husband and I went to an indoor water park in Ohio, where we stayed for the night and that’s the time where we also spent my birthday. It was a fun time. We spent most of our summer time at home but we had fun especially when my husband’s nephew was just graduated from high school. Then, my father in law came over from Florida to stay with us. This is also the time when I got my driver’s license finally! Then, it was also the time when I submitted my application for US citizenship. So excited about it too!
Then, we celebrated our daughter first birthday! She was finally 1. She had a blast on her birthday seeing people she knew and receiving gifts as well. Then, we celebrate my husband’s birthday as well. Then, everything went well as well as when the time of Christmas approaches. It was unforgettable knowing my husband was with us.
That’s all the highlights of what had happened to me last 2012. I hope this year will be much better! I’m crossing my finger with it! May God help me!
